Drowning is a leading cause of accidental death for children on the Autism Spectrum. FACE’s 2nd High Stakes Bocce Bash strives to build on the over $80,000 in adaptive swim and water safety grants we have provided to neurodiverse swimmers through our partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. To date, we have provided nearly 3,000 adaptive swim lessons impacting over 70 families in the Greater Kansas City area from more than a dozen culturally diverse backgrounds. We are proud to partner with our hosts, the American Sons of Columbus, and the Bocce Broadcast Network as our streaming partner for our event.

GAMEPLAY
- Triples Format
- 4-ball (2-per player) Revolving Door Format (i.e., Frame 1-Players A&B play, A walks down. Frame 2- Players A&C play, C walks back. Frame 3- Players B&C play, B walks down, etc.).
- Two Divisions (Open and Women’s)
- Entry Fee- $510 per team. Entry capped at 30 Men’s & 15 Women’s.
- Round Robin plus Double Elimination Bracket (All teams make the playoffs)
- USBF Open Rules- Backboard Dead
- Balls must be 107mm/920gr. House balls are available for use
- Round Robin games played to 12 points on a 50-minute timer
- Playoff Games played to 12 points on a 50-minute timer/Loser’s Bracket and Lucky Loser playoff games to 10 points on a 40-minute timer
- One timeout per team per match. The 30-second shot clock will be enforced

- Open practice from 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Friday, April 24th
- First Ball rolled at 9:00 AM
- Open practice until noon
- 11:30 AM: Captain’s Meeting to Review Rules and Format
- 12:00 PM-11:00 PM: Tournament begins (Women’s Division will start, Open Division will begin at 4:00 PM)
Saturday, April 25th
- 8:00 AM-11:00 PM: Round Robin Play concludes/Playoffs Begin
- 11:00-1:00 PM- Rotating Lunch
- 6:00-7:30 PM- Rotating Dinner
Sunday, April 26th
- 8:30 AM- Playoffs Resume/Open Championship
